{"id":3099,"date":"2018-07-06T20:00:17","date_gmt":"2018-07-07T01:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/waltonspot.com\/lowsodium\/?page_id=3099"},"modified":"2018-07-06T20:00:17","modified_gmt":"2018-07-07T01:00:17","slug":"meat-mushroom-skillet","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/waltonspot.com\/lowsodium\/recipes\/beef\/meat-mushroom-skillet\/","title":{"rendered":"Meat and Mushroom Skillet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This ground meat and mushroom skillet is an easy one-skillet dish that can be made with any ground meat.<\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\" data-rating=\"0\">\n<div class=\"item ERName\">Meat and Mushroom Skillet<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 lb lean ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd yellow onion, diced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cups mushrooms (any variety), sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tbsp fresh chopped basil OR 2 tsp dried basil<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp Mrs Dash Steak Seasoning blend<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">\u00bd cup no sodium beef broth<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar OR Marsala wine<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 Tbsp no sodium Worcestershire sauce substitute OR low sodium Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat a large non-stick skillet to medium-high heat. Cook ground meat for 8-10 minutes until no pink remains in the middle, breaking the meat into crumbles with spatula. Drain, remove from skillet, and set aside<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add the olive oil to the skillet and cook the garlic and onion for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and continue to cook for 5 more minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Return the cooked meat to the skillet. Stir in the basil, Mrs Dash, broth, vinegar (or wine), and Worcestershire sauce. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
