Bring to a simmer and cook gently until thickened, about 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">To serve: Add pre-cooked meatballs to the sauce, stir to coat evenly, and heat until the meatballs are hot.. Transfer the meatballs to a serving platter, spear with toothpicks and spoon the sauce over top.
