These are seafood recipes that our family has tried and enjoyed. Click each link for the full recipe and details about the amount of sodium per serving.
Note that fish such as catfish, tilapia, and salmon are low in sodium, and the recipes provided here that contain these products (without added shrimp or scallops) are low in sodium.
However, shrimp and scallops are high in sodium. The recipes provided here that contain shrimp and/or scallops may have less sodium per serving than similar recipes you find elsewhere, but most of our shrimp and scallop recipes are not low-sodium.
If you select a recipe that contains shrimp and/or scallops, please check the estimated sodium content per-serving of the dish (included on each recipe). If your selected recipe has more than 140 mg sodium per serving, you will need to plan accordingly for the serving size that you eat, the other dishes you include in your meal, and the recipes for the other meals you eat that day. For example, you could serve the shrimp or scallop dish with side dishes such as pasta or rice cooked without salt and/or vegetable dishes cooked without salt.
