This recipe works well with our low-sodium Creamy Italian Dressing.
- 1 cup low-sodium Creamy Italian Dressing (see recipe)
- 1 tsp low-Sodium Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lb pork chops
- Mix the Creamy Italian Dressing with the Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker, 1 layer at a time, covering each layer with some of the dressing. Pour the remainder of the dressing on top.
- Cook on low for approximately 8 hours or on high for approximately 4 hours.
Note that sodium percentages depend on which daily reference you use. The estimated 100mg of sodium per serving implies that one serving of this recipe provides:
– 5% of the U.S. FDA daily reference value for sodium for a 2,000-calorie diet that includes 2,400 mg sodium, or
– 7% of the American Heart Association recommendation of 1,500 mg sodium per day, or
– 10% of the Ménière’s diet recommendation of 1,000 mg sodium per day.
