Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes
Serves: 8.
 
Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup no-salt-added ketchup
  • ½ of a small can of tomato paste
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp ground mustard
  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp Mrs. Dash Steak Grilling seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder.
Instructions
  1. Brown beef and onion, cooking until the onion is tender. Drain. 
Put all of the remaining ingredients in a slow cooker and stir until well mixed. Add the meat and onion mixture and stir well. Cook on low 6-8 hours, or on high 3-4 hours.
