Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 6 - 8 chicken thighs (skinned, with bones)
(or other chicken pieces, as preferred)
- 1 small can no-salt-added tomato sauce
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- ½ cup water
- Place onion in bottom of slow cooker.
- Place chicken on top of onion.
- Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
