Roasted BBQ Chicken Thighs
 
Ingredients
  • Chicken Thighs
  • Your favorite no-salt Barbecue sauce
  • Olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Drizzle a little olive oil on the aluminum foil and place the chicken skin-side down. Roast 25 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven, brush some barbecue sauce all over the thighs. Then use tongs to turn the thighs over, being careful not to tear the skin. Brush the tops of the chicken with more sauce. Return to the oven and roast 7 minutes more.
  4. Remove from oven, brush on more sauce, and return to the oven for another 7 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and brush on more sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees F. Return to oven and roast until the sauce begins to brown around the edges and the chicken is totally cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. (at least 165 degrees in the thickest part of the meat).
  6. Remove from the oven and serve.
