No Salt Breakfast Sausage 2
- 1 lb ground beef, pork, or turkey
- 1 tsp parsley
- ½ tsp rubbed sage OR ¼ tsp ground sage
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp coriander
- ¼ cup cold water
- In a small bowl mix together all of the ingredients. Sprinkle the seasoning mix on the ground meat and mix well. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight before cooking.
- To freeze: make into patties, separate each patty with plastic wrap or freezer paper, and freeze in a freezer bag.
- To cook: Form the sausage into thin patties or break into chunks. Cook in a medium-high skillet until cooked through with no pink remaining.
