Sweet Basil Tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup no-salt diced tomatoes
- 1 can no-salt tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp dried chopped basil (or ¼ cup finely chopped fresh basil)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer 15 minutes (or more if you want a thicker sauce.)
