5-Spice Stir-Fried Pork or Chicken
- ¼ cup plain rice vinegar
- 1 tsp 5-spice powder
- dash of Mrs Dash Chicken Grilling Seasoning blend
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp no-salt soy sauce substitute (see recipe)
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- ¼ cup sesame oil
- 1½ lb pork tenderloin, or chicken tenders, cut into bite-sized pieces
- In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, dash of Mrs Dash Chicken Grilling Seasoning, 5-spice powder, garlic, soy sauce substitute, water, and cornstarch until well blended.
- Heat a large skillet or wok to medium hot. Then add the sesame oil. Add the pork and let it sit in the skillet or wok for about 1 minute. Then stir-fry it for 3 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
- Add the sauce to the wok and stir fry for 1 minute more to thicken the sauce.
