Spicy Lentils

Ingredients
  • 1 cup lentils, cooked according to package directions, omitting the salt
  • 1 cup fat-free no-salt chicken broth
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1//8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
  • ⅛ tsp Mrs Dash Original Seasoning blend
  • 2 tsp dried chopped parsley OR 2 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
  1. Combine lentils, broth, onion, crushed red pepper, and Mrs Dash Original Seasoning in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, or until most of the liquid has evaporated. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
