Sweet and Spicy Stir Fry Sauce
- ¾ cup no-sodium vegetable broth OR chicken broth
- 3 Tbsp No-Sodium Soy Sauce substitute (see recipe)
- 3 Tbsp white vinegar or rice vinegar
- 6 Tbsp No-Sodium Sweet Chili Sauce (see recipe)
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir until the cornstarch and sugar are dissolved. Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- To use: Cook the sauce while you stir-fry vegetables and/or meat. After the vegetables and optional meat is cooked, gently stir in the sauce. Let it sit for 1 minute for the flavors to blend. Serve over rice.
