Very Cheesy Stuffed Shells
- 12 uncooked jumbo shells
- 1 tsp Mrs Dash Original Seasoning blend
- ½ cup ricotta cheese
- ⅔ cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ⅛ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon Mrs Dash Original Seasoning blend
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil or 1 tsp chopped dried basil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1½ cup no-salt-added marinara sauce (see recipe)
- Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp Mrs Dash Original Seasoning blend and 12 uncooked jumbo shells. Cook the shells for 10 minutes. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, ¼ tsp Mrs Dash, basil, and egg.
- Spread ¼ cup sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish. Stuff each shell with some of the ricotta mixture and place in the casserole dish so each shell is next to the other shells with no space between them. Top with remaining sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another10 minutes.
