Very Simple Marinara Sauce
Serves: 6
 
Ingredients
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced dried onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 2 Tbsp dried parsley)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp Mrs Dash Original Seasoning blend
  • ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 15-oz can no-salt-added whole tomatoes, including the juice
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until thickened, about 15 minutes.
