Smothered Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 boneless pork chops, with fat trimmed off
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups no-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Mrs Dash Chicken Seasoning blend
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil to medium. Saute the onion and garlic 4-5 minutes, until tender. Add the pork chops and brown on both sides.
  2. In a small bowl, stir the flour into the chicken broth a little at a time, stirring well until the flour is dissolved in the broth. Then stir in the Mrs Dash Chicken Seasoning blend.
  3. Pour the broth mixture over the chops in the skillet. Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally to keep the chops from sticking, for 1 hour, or until the meat is tender.
