Guacamole with Tomato
Serves: 6
 
Ingredients
  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Optional: 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Optional: 1 ripe tomato, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp dried cilantro (or 1 tsp fresh cilantro)
Instructions
  1. In a medium serving bowl, mash the peeled avocados with a fork. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Cover tightly by laying a sheet of plastic wrap directly on surface of guacamole and gently squeezing out any air bubbles.
  3. Chill for half an hour or more to blend flavors. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
