Herbed Beer Bread
- 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1½ Tbsp low-sodium baking powder
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp basil
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp rosemary
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (12 oz) beer, room temperature (use any kind of beer you want: regular, light, or non-alcoholic)
- Lightly spray a loaf pan with baking spray.
- Set the oven shelf so the top of your loaf pan will be at the middle of the oven.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients except beer in a medium bowl. Mix well.
- Add the beer and stir to combine.
- Pour the batter into a loaf pan (or lead-free ceramic bread baking pot)
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven (or until middle of bread measures 200 degrees on a baking thermometer.)
