Herbed Beer Bread
Serves: 10
 
Ingredients
  • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1½ Tbsp low-sodium baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (12 oz) beer, room temperature (use any kind of beer you want: regular, light, or non-alcoholic)
Instructions
  1. Lightly spray a loaf pan with baking spray.
  2. Set the oven shelf so the top of your loaf pan will be at the middle of the oven.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  4. Combine all ingredients except beer in a medium bowl. Mix well.
  5. Add the beer and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the batter into a loaf pan (or lead-free ceramic bread baking pot)
  7. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven (or until middle of bread measures 200 degrees on a baking thermometer.)
