Hamburger Stroganoff
Serves: 6-8.
 
Ingredients
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef (or 1 lb sirloin steak, chopped into bite sized pieces)
  • 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • ½ cup no-sodium beef broth
  • 
2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup low-fat sour cream
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown beef with mushrooms and onion.
  2. When meat is cooked, sprinkle flour over top and stir to mix in.
  3. Add broth and cook until thickened, scraping any sticking bits from the bottom. Remove from heat, and stir in sour cream.
  4. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
