Cajun Shrimp
- 1 lb medium or large shrimp
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2¼ tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place the butter in a 13 x 9 baking pan, and then place the pan in the oven until the butter is melted.
- In a small bowl mix together the spices and blend well.
- Place shrimp into the baking pan, and sprinkle with the seasonings. Stir to mix the shrimp, butter, and spices until the shrimp is well coated.
- Bake for approximately 15 minutes. The shrimp should be pink when done.
