Cajun Shrimp
Serves: 4.
 
Ingredients
  • 1 lb medium or large shrimp
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2¼ tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place the butter in a 13 x 9 baking pan, and then place the pan in the oven until the butter is melted.
  3. In a small bowl mix together the spices and blend well.
  4. Place shrimp into the baking pan, and sprinkle with the seasonings. Stir to mix the shrimp, butter, and spices until the shrimp is well coated.
  5. Bake for approximately 15 minutes. The shrimp should be pink when done.
