  • 1 lb very lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • ½ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour OR white whole wheat flour
  • ¾ tsp low-sodium baking powder
  • 1 tsp Mrs Dash Steak Grilling seasoning
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil, plus more to oil the pie pan.

  4. Add ½ of cheese to meat mixture and stir to combine. Spoon in meat mixture. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of the meat. Slowly pour the milk/flour mixture evenly over the pie.
  5. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown and bubbly. Remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
