This no sodium Asian-style orange sauce is great as a marinade and sauce for chicken, fish, or pork.
Asian-Style Orange Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup no-salt chicken broth
- ½ cup orange juice
- ½ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup vinegar
- ¼ cup soy sauce substitute (see recipe) or low sodium Worcestershire
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp Mrs. Dash Chicken Grilling Seasoning blend
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ⅛ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- To use as a marinade: combine chicken, fish, or pork and some of the marinade. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, mixing occasionally. Drain the meat from the marinade, discarding the marinade and cook.
- To use as a sauce: Heat remaining marinade in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir in 2 tbsp. cornstarch combined with 2 tbsp. water. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened about 1-2 minutes; keep warm until serving on cooked chicken, fish, or pork.
