Avocado Cream Dressing

Use as a salad dressing, or as a topping over chicken or beef tomato salsa (see recipe) for southwest salad, tostados, tacos, burritos, or nachos.

Avocado Cream Dressing
 
Ingredients
  • 1 avocado, peeled and pit removed
  • ¼ cup light sour cream
  • ⅛ tsp Mrs Dash Garlic Herb Seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (or 1 tsp. dried cilantro)
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl or in sealed plastic bag. Mash the ingredients together with back of spoon (or, if using a sealed plastic bag, mash by hand) until the ingredients are well combined.)
  2. Serve as a salad dressing, or as a topping for chicken or beef tomato salsa (see recipe)

Note that sodium percentages depend on which daily reference you use. The estimated 20 mg of sodium per serving implies that one serving of this recipe provides:
