- 1½ lbs lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- ½ cup no-salt-added ketchup
- ½ of a small can of tomato paste
- ½ cup water
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp ground mustard
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp Mrs. Dash Steak Grilling seasoning
- 1 Tbsp reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder.
- Brown beef and onion, cooking until the onion is tender. Drain. Put all of the remaining ingredients in a slow cooker and stir until well mixed. Add the meat and onion mixture and stir well. Cook on low 6-8 hours, or on high 3-4 hours.
